How to Apply for Opportunity Knocks

Sign up for The Opportunity Coach. If you haven’t already, start by signing up for The Opportunity Coach. It’s free and gives us the background we need to understand your goals and challenges. You must complete this step before you can apply. Already signed up? Move to Step 2.

Fill out your application. Complete the short online form to tell us about yourself, your current situation, and the kind of support that could make a real difference in your life. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Just be honest about where you are and what you’re hoping for. We’re listening, and we’re here to help.

The sooner you apply, the better your chance of being in the running for Season 3. Don’t wait until the the cut off. This could be the moment that changes everything.

Once we start filming, we'll connect you with local nonprofits you can trust. They'll help with the real stuff—housing, childcare, and how to make and keep more of your own money. From the very beginning, this help is part of your journey.

As you and your coach work together, you may also receive up to $20,000 from The Opportunity Fund. Your coach will work with you to plan how to use the money in the way that moves you forward the most.
