1. Scope

1.1. This Privacy Policy explains how Opportunity Knocks Group (“Producers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with auditions, casting, and production activities (collectively, “Casting Activities”) for the Opportunity Knocks Program.

1.2. This Privacy Policy applies to information provided online, offline, or through other methods as part of Casting Activities.

2. Mobile Messaging & Applicant Data

2.1. Collection of Mobile Numbers
When you provide your mobile phone number during the casting application process, we collect and store this information securely for the purpose of sending you text message updates related to your application.

2.2. Use of Applicant Data
Your phone number will only be used to send recurring text messages about your casting application, including status updates, scheduling, reminders, and other casting-related information.

2.3. Message Frequency & Charges
Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and mobile plan.

2.4. Opt-Out & Help Instructions
You may opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message. You may also reply HELP for additional assistance.

2.5. Consent Not Required
Providing a mobile number and consenting to receive text messages is optional and not required to apply, audition, or participate in the Program.

2.6. Data Sharing & Retention
We do not sell or rent your mobile number to third parties. Applicant data, including phone numbers, may be shared only with service providers who help us deliver messaging services and is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill casting and production purposes.

3. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information during Casting Activities:
Personal identifiers (name, age, date of birth, contact information)
Application materials (videos, photos, written submissions)
Eligibility details (citizenship, employment status, union membership)
Technical information (device, IP address, usage logs) when using online forms


4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
Review and process applications
Communicate with applicants regarding casting status and production updates
Verify eligibility and compliance with casting requirements
Operate and improve our casting and production systems
Ensure safety, legal compliance, and integrity of Casting Activities


5. Sharing of Information
We may share applicant information with:
Service providers who help us process applications, host platforms, or deliver communications (including SMS messaging providers)
Affiliates, partners, and production entities involved in the Program
Legal or regulatory authorities when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety

6. Data Security & Retention

6.1. We use industry-standard security measures to protect personal information.

6.2. Applicant data is retained only as long as necessary for casting and production purposes, unless longer retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, update, or delete your personal information. You may also withdraw consent for communications, including SMS, at any time using the methods described above.

8. Children’s Privacy

Applicants under 18 must provide verified parent/guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without such consent.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates take effect when posted to the official casting website. If material changes occur, we will notify registered applicants by email.

Casting & Participation Terms of Use
1. Scope

1.1. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your participation in auditions, casting, and production activities (collectively, “Casting Activities”) for Opportunity Knocks (“Program”), produced by Opportunity Knocks Group (“Producers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1.2. By submitting an application, audition materials, or otherwise participating in the Program, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, along with the Opportunity Knocks Production Privacy Policy.

1.3. If you do not agree, you must not participate in Casting Activities. Providing a mobile number and consenting to receive text messages is optional and not required to apply, audition, or participate in the Program.

2. Changes

2.1. We may update these Terms at any time. Updates take effect when posted to the official casting website.

2.2. If material changes occur, we will notify registered applicants by email. The most recent version always applies.

4. Registration & Eligibility

4.1. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information. False or misleading information may result in disqualification.

4.2. Eligibility requirements:

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

Applicants under 18 must provide verified parent/guardian consent.

You must not be a member of SAG-AFTRA, ACTRA, or other performers’ unions unless waived.

You must not have contractual obligations preventing full participation.

Neither you nor your immediate family/household members may be employees, contractors, or representatives of Opportunity Knocks Group, its affiliates, or production partners directly involved in the Program.

5. Submissions & Rights Granted

5.1. “Submissions” include any application materials, videos, photos, recordings, or other content you provide.

5.2. By submitting, you grant Opportunity Knocks Group a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, sublicensable license to use, edit, distribute, promote, broadcast, and otherwise exploit your Submissions in any media, now known or later developed.

5.3. You waive any “moral rights” in your Submissions and acknowledge they may be edited or altered at Producers’ discretion.

5.4. Producers are under no obligation to use, review, or return your Submissions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Submit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content.

Misrepresent your identity, background, or eligibility.

Attempt to interfere with casting platforms, production systems, or another applicant’s participation.

Upload material containing viruses, malicious code, or unauthorized intellectual property.

7. Selection & Disqualification

7.1. Producers may, at their sole discretion, select or reject applicants for auditions, casting, or participation.

7.2. Selection for an audition does not guarantee casting in the Program.

7.3. Producers may disqualify you at any stage for violating these Terms, failing to meet eligibility, or engaging in disruptive conduct.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1. All rights in the Program, including its episodes, format, promotional materials, and related intellectual property, are owned exclusively by Opportunity Knocks Group.

8.2. Your participation does not grant you ownership or rights in the Program.

9. Nature of Relationship

Participation in Casting Activities or the Program does not create an employment relationship. You acknowledge that appearances are voluntary and not compensated unless otherwise set out in a separate written agreement with Producers.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Opportunity Knocks Group, its affiliates, and partners from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your Submissions, your breach of these Terms, or your participation in the Program.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Producers are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage arising out of your participation.

All Casting Activities and Program participation are provided “as is” and “as available.”

Producers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

12.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12.2. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or small claims court in King County, Washington, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Class actions and jury trials are waived.

13. Miscellaneous

These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding Casting Activities.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain valid.

These Terms survive even if your participation ends.
